Meet Nick Shalton, Owner

Nick Shalton is the owner and head trainer of Off Leash K9 Training, Central Florida. Nick always had a passion for working with animals. He grew up around Police K9’s thanks to a long line of family members serving in law enforcement. Nick has always been fascinated working with dogs and learning to understand their behavior. From a young age, Nick realized that proper structure and consistency can transform ANY dog into a well behaved member of the family.Nick furthered his passion for working with dogs after enlisting in the United States Marine Corps. Upon returning home from the Marines, Nick decided to enroll in college where he studied and went on to earn a degree in Psychology and Criminal Justice.After graduating college, Nick was introduced to Off Leash K9 Training. He immediately traveled to OLK9 headquarters in Northern Virginia and began working with some of the best dog trainers in the nation!Nick is very excited to bring OLK9’s world class training to the “Sunshine State”. Off Leash K9 Training, Central Florida currently has 4 locations throughout Eastern Central Florida and Florida’s Treasure Coast. We have trainers in Palm Bay, Orlando, Daytona Beach, Port St. Lucie, and surrounding areas!
